5-Ton Truck Delivery Driver (Class 5 License)

Responsibilities:

1. Conduct inspections of vehicle before departing to deliver goods
2. Pack and load products onto trucks according to company’s specifications
3. Deliver orders to customers, including to restaurant and supermarkets, on assigned routes
4. Unload goods as per client specification, all goods must be delivered inside business premises
5. Move objects using a power jack tool
6. Obtain delivery confirmations/signatures from each customer
7. Check inventory against invoices with customers
8. Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs
9. Collect cash, cheques or CODs when required
10. Comply with company’s deliver standard operating procedures

Requirements/ Must-Haves:

1. Class 5 driver license with clean driving abstract
2. Related delivery experience
3. Good communication and customer service skills
4. Ability to drive a commercial truck and operate a lift gate
5. Able to work rotating shifts
6. Heavy lifting up to 50lbs
7. Basic English communication
8. Legally entitled to work in Canada
